10/10, 100%, A+, NOTHING COULD BE BETTER. One of the most enjoyable meals of my life.
I went with my partner and we shared the steamed bao, and we both had the spicy tan tan. We also shared a drink, I think (Hetodama) and it was very fun and boozy(:
The preparation of each ingredient is obviously important here, as each bite is pure heaven.
The service is also very good. Observant staff that wont leave you longing for anything waiting to get their attention. Very friendly, but not overbearing.
Can’t wait to go back(:
Really wonderful and flavorful ramen. Happy hour drinks and dishes were delicious, as were the mains during dinner service. Salad options were creative and used fresh ingredients. Nothing was overly flavored or greasy, and flavors were well balanced throughout the meal. Loved it!
Came here while on a road trip and was pleasantly surprised to find legit ramen in the area.
Atmosphere felt like a true Japanese izakaya. Note: we went on a Saturday night at 7pm and it was pretty busy - most people needed reservations or it was a one hour wait.
Food:
Chicken Karage was amazing. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
Creamy tomato ramen was creamy indeed and the blistered tomatos packed a punch.
Spicy Tantanmen ramen was delicious too. Compared to the tomato ramen, it was heavier in flavor with a hint of Sichuan pepper in the soup.
This used to be a favorite place of mine however the last few visits were pretty disappointing. There are not many vegetarian options to begin with and the ones they do have can be hit or miss. Allergens are not clearly labeled and servers sometimes are not prepared well to answer them. My husband is allergic to most seafood/shellfish and we had asked prior to ordering if the ramen had any of that and initially were told no. We asked again after my husband starting having a reaction and they double checked with the kitchen to let us know that most dishes have fish or oyster sauce in it, but you wouldn't know unless asked. On our last visit, we tried a different rice option and it was just pretty disappointing. For folks with no dietary restrictions it's probably a great place, just not if you do.
I was blessed to be able to try so many of their dishes. This was my first time here and I loved it all. All the dishes in my photos were each so different and had their own unique vibe. They were all memorable.
I went for lunch on the weekend andcwe sat outdoors. Our server was attentive polite and answered any questions we had about the menu items.
The location is good with parking near by. If you haven't tried their food you should go asap.
I come here for the ramen but it's sadly the weakest thing on the menu. I've had every variety and spicy is the most well rounded and flavorful option. The shoyu is insanely salty and somehow paired with wakame, which doesn't create a good balance. The vegetarian is just bland and sad. Their donburi are very good and a kind of Korean Japanese fusion. Cocktails are unique and flavorful. For the price I do expect more of a consistent quality with the menu items. Overall food is okay, service is great.
Absolutely amazing Ramen, and pretty much everything else they have on the menu. We wanted to do a surprise party for my wife and they helped arrange all of the reservations so we could have enough room for our party! Can't wait to go again!
When I walked in this place I felt like this is what Heaven must smell like! As a chef for over 30 years I know great food and fine dining and this place exceeds all expectations.
I can’t get enough of this place, hands down the best Ramen in the North Bay and the service is out of this world. Ask to sit in Emily’s section.
